About
I've been playing violin for 20 years and have roots in the old Russian school of violin and I have extensive performance experience across solo, chamber, pit and orchestra environments. I offer classes on all difficulty ranges.
I think playing music is vital for us because it lets the player express emotion with others on a level that goes beyond language and culture. To me playing an instrument is not only about mastering the skills and repertoire, but freedom of expression, body awareness, control, and creativity.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to learn more about the student, what they're interested in, excited about and what their goals are, and why they're learning music and what they've been working on. It's important to figure out what the student likes and where they are in terms of technique and repertoire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2020 Graduate Performance Diploma in Violin Performance, Boston Conservatory at Berklee
2018 Bachelors in Music in Violin Performance, Boston Conservatory at Berklee
2023 Masters in Music in Violin Performance, Boston Conservatory at Berklee
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 per 30 minutes, 45$ per 45 minute and 50$ for hour lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
Throughout my performing career I've had colleagues often ask for advice on technique or practice routines, which I found engaging to do up until college, when frequent studio classes pushed us to give helpful advice to each other. Then in undergrad I was assigned a beginning violin student as part of my Pedagogy curriculum and that really sparked my interest in teaching violin.
