I highly recommend Granite Coast School of Music! Barry is a great teacher who really goes above and beyond. He makes the lessons fun by teaching my son with the music he likes and he gives him online resources to use at home. Barry is kind, positive and overall a fantastic guitar teacher, he really knows what hes talking about! Five Stars!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I see where the student is in their development by asking questions and physically viewing their ability, then formulate a game plan to take their ability/skill set to the next level
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Playing for 40 years, some music theory education. Play many styles
How did you get started teaching?
During the recession I need to gain more income as my day job is in RE and it was bad times...started to sub in the local schools in music and other curriculum and then though well why not private teach as well...that is how it began about 15 years ago.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds..young old and in-between.

Backed up Last in line which is Dio's band without Dio..god rest his soul.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
choose a fun teacher like me..:)
