About
I am always looking forward to sharing the love of music and what I have learned with students. I teach and apply music theory skills into guitar and piano playing to produce the most well-rounded students that I am able, forming the line between someone who plays an instrument- and a musician. Lessons are for all levels of musicians, and centered around what the student is interested in.
In introductory lessons I like to keep things as relaxed as possible. I really want you to have the right teacher, so I just want to make sure we are a good match. We can talk about your influences and favorite bands, and work on some basic stuff to see where you are in your abilities. We will then add onto that and work on new material, making sure what you're learning is smooth and clean for effective playing.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Berklee College of Music, majoring in Songwriting. Much time was devoted to playing, ear-training, and music theory. Since then I have been teaching guitar, piano, bass and drums as my primary job.
