About this pro

I am always looking forward to sharing the love of music and what I have learned with students. I teach and apply music theory skills into guitar and piano playing to produce the most well-rounded students that I am able, forming the line between someone who plays an instrument- and a musician. Lessons are for all levels of musicians, and centered around what the student is interested in.

In introductory lessons I like to keep things as relaxed as possible. I really want you to have the right teacher, so I just want to make sure we are a good match. We can talk about your influences and favorite bands, and work on some basic stuff to see where you are in your abilities. We will then add onto that and work on new material, making sure what you're learning is smooth and clean for effective playing.

Fraud! Piano Teacher. We have hired Jacob as a Piano Teacher for my 7 years old Autistic son after having a Free Demo Class. Demo class went well, so we paid him $225 for 5 classes on 07/27/2019. Initially, we agreed upon a class every Monday, however, Jacob took only 2 classes for my son (After a couple of cancellations between due to his schedule). As there were frequent changes in the schedule, it became extremely difficult for us to make my kid "Understand, Why the session got cancelled or postponed". So, we said the same reason to Jacob and asked him to refund the amount for the remaining 3 classes i.e, 3*45$ = $135. We have been following up with Jacob from the past 3 months, so far we didn't get the amount. We have all the emails /texts/pings that we did to Jacob for follow up as well as the invoice of the amount we paid. We can submit them as proof if needed. Request everyone who is reading this review to stay out of him to save time, energy, money and finally emotions. Hope no one will be in our situation because of him.

He is very professional and knowledgeable. He is a very pleasant person. My daughter has been playing a few new jazz pieces on the piano. She tells me that she is learning new theory that helps her learn new songs.

Jacob is a real pleasure to learn from. He customizes the sessions to my ability and makes the practice goals enjoyable... love working with him!

Before I started to learn guitar I wasn't sure if I could actually pull it off given my age and not much knowledge about music theory. Now Jacob has made me so much more confident and I believe I can actually do it. I highly reccomend him.
