Over the past three decades I’ve played in a number of rock bands in the Boston, MA and Burlington, VT areas. My current gigs include playing drums for The Luxury (2013 - Present), singer/guitarist for The William Shakes (2016 - Present), and house percussionist at Hancock United Church of Christ in Lexington, MA (2009 - Present). I also have extensive experience as a pit musician in the Boston, MA area, having played over 30 productions on percussion, bass, and guitar.
My son has studied drums with Mark for the last 8 years. Mark has been an amazing drum instructor, mentor, and a most positive influence, keeping my son interested and motivated from 5th grade through his senior year in high school. Mark’s extensive knowledge of music, breadth of skills and friendly manner have made learning enjoyable and limitless. He taught my son the fundamentals of playing drums and moved on to more advanced techniques as my son was ready, continually keeping him challenged. As my son began playing in bands, writing music and recording, Mark was always willing to listen, answer questions and offer great advice, which he was able to do because of his vast experience. My son has always looked forward to his weekly lessons with Mark and is sad they’re coming to an end as he gets ready to start college at Berklee College of Music this fall.
