I offer personalized instruction to all of my students based upon their goals, musical tastes, and ability. I have been a professional performing artist and instructor for many years and am extremely comfortable in all genres of popular music.
My greatest sense of enjoyment is when I see the excitement in a student's eyes when they nail a certain skill. Learning guitar is not easy, especially in the early stages, and is is very satisfying when my students reach a new goal.
The other thing I really enjoy is that my students have a wide range of age, backgrounds and likes and it is constantly exposes me to new and interesting material.

Very knowledgeable and patient
Craig is friendly, knowledgeable, and a great guitarist. I'm fairly experienced on guitar but in a single lesson he not only identified a weak link in my knowledge–major key improvisation–but also gave me a number of tips on major key improv and fluid demonstrations, which right away helped me not only address my problem, but strengthen that aspect in my own playing.
My first meeting with a new student involves ascertaining their skill level, their long and short term goals and what type of music inrestes them. I also review how I go about my teaching approach and what the student needs to do in order to make it all work.
I have been playing guitar for over 50 years and have learned a great deal on knowledge regarding technique and theory by my own study. I also had the role of Training Manager in a large hospitality company for a number of years. Successful instruction, not only, involves actual playing skills and knowledge, it also takes preparation, organization, the ability to actually listen to my students and elecit their feedback.
My fee is $35.00 per lesson at my home studio. There is an adfditional $10.00 if I am traveling to the students location. That covers a 60 minute lesson, all printed and e-mailed material, and telephone or e-mail support in between lessons.
