About this pro

It's time to let your voice out! I want to help you find your confidence and discover your powerful and expressive voice. In lessons, we focus on extending your range, learning how to sing with more freedom and power, how to smooth the break in your voice, and having more confidence in your voice. Private voice lessons are an opportunity for you to be inspired, grow, laugh and develop your own singing voice. Whether you are a first-time singer or experienced, I focus on creating an inspiring, exciting and comfortable environment.

Kendra brings six years experience as a professional singer, actor, and vocal coach. She received her B.A. in Theatre and has performed everything from pop to jazz to inspirational music. She has been the lead singer of a band, sung as a church soloist, and performed in musicals.

She has performed throughout the United States including California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana and Connecticut.

Kendra has taught voice in both private and public school settings in Boston and Hartford, Connecticut. You can now see her performing in the Boston area.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've worked with children ages 5 and up, adults who are learning to sing for the first time, as well as experienced singers.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

The right teacher will motivate and inspire you. They will challenge you while providing a safe and comfortable space to grow. Ask yourself questions like: What would I like to get out of my voice lessons? Would I like to have fun and learn new songs? Would I like to find my voice and natural expression? What are my goals as a singer/performer?
