Ellie Hikima Studio

Hello and welcome! My name is Ellie and I recently graduated from Wellelsey College with a chemistry degree and a minor in music. I have 16 years of violin performance under my belt, and am constantly trying to improve my art. I am new to teaching violin and am opening an online studio to accept students new to the instrument, and those who are intermediate players. Depending on where you are located, I can come to teach as well.

I am experienced in mentoring youth, and focus my attention on empathy, understanding, and empowerment. I gained the most confidence this way, both inside and outside of the music studio. I provide constructive feedback in a way that’s promotes learning. My goal is not to just improve your playing, but to help you enjoy the art of violin and music!
