I specialize in teaching music theory through the guitar fretboard, but starting with beginning/intermediate players. The most often overlooked aspect of learning guitar is understanding WHY you're playing what you're playing. Understanding the way the instrument works and why you're able to play what you are. I believe learning this as early as possible is essential to becoming the player you want to be!
