About

Evelyn Czaja, mezzo-soprano, voice teacher, piano teacher, choir director, piano accompanist and organist...plus stage director and makeup artist.

Music is a life-long pursuit no matter how big or small your career and/or teaching business. By way of her Studio, Ms. Czaja instructs beginning musicians or those who have had some training (or a lot) in the basics of singing or playing an instrument. A strong foundation is what is needed to accomplish anything, not just music. Think of building your house on sand...whoops!

Same thing with music. Becoming proficient at your instrument of choice is essential. Learning to read music and knowing at least the basics of music theory are part of this. Imagine reading a book with only a rudimentary knowledge of letters and word-building. Whoops again!

Ms. Czaja also likes to have fun during lessons and make the student feel at ease while learning the intricacies of making music. Why not laugh a bit while learning?
