Piano And Music Lessons
About
I teach piano, oboe, music theory, and music composition. I create a curriculum for each student based on skill level and their interest. I always listen carefully during discussion and to their playing to ensure that I'm providing the best instruction for that particular student.
My teaching method can lead my students to open up their freedom in music and teach the skills step by step for playing music joyfully.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the first lesson, I get some ideas to create a curriculum for each student based on skill level and their interest. I share/discuss my curriculum idea with the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first musical instrument was piano. I have been playing piano throughout my life since I was four. I finished my Master degree in Oboe Performance. Since 2015, I have been involved in composing music besides on my solid performance career as an oboist. My first commission orchestra piece was performed by Du Bois Orchestra in Cambridge, MA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I would like to offer the best pricing system for your music journey. The standard pricing is $35 per lesson, $130/month (I recommend to take a lesson once a week. 4-5 lessons are provided in a month. In the way, $32.5 per lesson.) My pricing system is much lower than the average cost of piano lessons in Greater Boston. If you have any questions or concerns about the pricing, please don't hesitate to ask me. I rather you to have continuous music endeavor than stop taking piano lessons because of a financial challenge. I do all my best to match your budget.
How did you get started teaching?
My first teaching job was a community after school program organized by the city of Cambridge, MA. I taught piano then. I have taught piano/oboe/composition for many years in Greater Boston and had great experiences with all ages of students, 3-80 years old.
