My teaching approach:
I gear my teaching to each student but convey professional information even to beginners capable of receiving it. I've found this makes progress a bit more difficult, but far more rewarding for the student plus it enhances the pace of learning. I was the rock and blues instructor in the Performing Arts division at U-Mass Amherst. Students can still get college credit through their schools.
