Ms. Yu is violinist originally from China, and started playing the violin at the age of four. She has moved to the US since the undergraduate. She is an active performer and teacher based in Boston, Massachusetts. As a multi musician, Jiuri is currently a violin instructor at the Key notes school of Music and Maestro Musicians Academy. She has recently found that teaching young children gives her great joy, especially dealing when with the complexities of personalities as they arise and the challenge of motivating and molding young minds. Jiuri is also an active orchestra musician, she is currently a regular member of the Cape Ann orchestra, Glens Falls symphony, South Carolina Philharmonic, and York Symphony Orchestra. As a performer, Jiuri has made her appearances in the Carnegie Hall, Sanders Theater, Jordan Hall, Koger Center for the Arts, Garde Theater and Appell Center for the Performing Arts.

Jiuri is very experienced of working with beginners. She has work with kids from different ages for several years. She is good at encouraging the students who can play with the different levels.
