About
I am a veteran teach with 30 years experience, 25 of those years at Berklee College of Music. I have authored courses on Classic Rock guitar styles, The playing of Jimmy Page, and the playing of Joe Satriani.
I also a very experienced performer. I play in several band and with different solo artists. My own music can be found on spotify, iTunes, and YouTube. Performing as much as I have helps inform my teaching to a great degree. I know what works and all my experience teaching has taught me how to communicate that effectively.
I love playing, performing, and teaching. Pretty much anything that has to do with guitar is exciting to me.
I love teaching any student who is excited to learn, whether it's Beatles songs, solos, how to improvise, theory, or discussing gear. I really enjoy it all. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an advanced player, the fun is in the journey and communicating something of value to the student.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking lessons and studying music since I was 11 years old. I have a vast amount of experience playing in bands having done so since I was in Jr. high. After high school I attended Berklee College of Music. After Berklee I study with several prominent guitar teachers from the Boston area.
