Ive been teaching music over 10 years and currently work teaching 4th and 5th grade music and band at a public school in Massachusetts. I hold a teaching certification in K-12 Music in Massachusetts.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically I start out by introducing the student to my class expectations and how I structure the lessons. I divide my lessons into 3 parts, 1) scales and exercises 2) Lesson and songbook 3) Review games.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years experience teaching piano lessons. I have been playing piano for over 30 years. I am background and CORI checked by Wilmington MA Public Schools. I studied music performance at Clark University in Worcester, MA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons cost $60 per hour. Most students use a 30 minute or 45 minute lesson for children, and 45 to 60 minutes for adults.
What types of students have you worked with?
I normally work with beginners age 5-9 years and have a specialized, kid friendly approach.
