About

My teaching approach: I focus on music theory and chord/scale relationships for improvisation and have several experienced jazz players as students. I really enjoy preparing guitarists and bass players for music school. See www.clementestudio.com for more details. My guitar lessons take place in: In the teacher's studio Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: My music studio in Worcester, MA, convenient to Auburn, Shrewsbury, Grafton, Oxford, Sutton, Holden Guitar Techniques: Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Improvisation, Performance, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar

I love teaching and addressing the needs of each individual student to help them reach their specific goals! Clemente Music in Worcester (where I teach) is a great environment where you become part of a community. A really cool place to meet other guitarists.

All the teachers are amazing players with years of teaching experience!

Clemente Music is THE place to go to get serious about your instrument. Rich, Joe, Dan and Paul are some of the friendliest guys I know, and certainly some of the most talented. They are all very active players, well known and respected in the Worcester scene and beyond. Rich Falco is an award winning musician and scholar, and an expert on Jazz and Jazz history. Dan Hunt builds beautiful guitars and has done some great repair work for me. Paul Courchaine is excellent with beginners, and his younger students are excited and engaged in their lessons. And Ive studied with Joe DAngelo for over 6 years, covering Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, and more, and its one of the best decisions Ive ever made.

Our son Chami has been taking guitar lessons with Dan Hunt since 2013. Chami has been going to Clemente Music once a week for five years. We have only missed lessons due to illness or school commitments. Chami has always been ready to go at 10.00 a.m on Saturday morning with no hesitation.
It is a testament to Dans skill as a teacher that Chami has learned to play the guitar. It is a testament to Dans calm personality that Chami has enjoyed the experience thoroughly. I have benefited a great deal from the atmosphere at Clemente Music with the animated conversations about music and musicians, during the several times that I have visited the studio. I can only imagine how worthwhile it has been to a regular student like Chami. Dan Hunt and Clemente Music have been an essential part of Chamis education. I have no doubt that Chami will always cherish his memories of Saturday mornings at Clemente Music. Most importantly, I am confident that he will play the guitar his whole life.

He was my music mentor for about 16 years - that must say something. (I moved out of the area). Rich has a firm grounding in jazz, guitar, and the music biz. He is no less a great human being as well. You cant go wrong here!

I had the pleasure of studying at Clemente Guitar Studio for several years when I first started playing guitar. I’m currently a part-time musician averaging about two gigs a month and have to admit, the main reason I still play guitar to this day and have a respectable level of proficiency on the instrument is a direct result of the time I spent as a student at the studio. My main instructor was Rich Falco but I also had a few lessons with Joe D’Angelo - both extremely talented guitarists, superb educators and all around great guys!
The musical instruction at Clemente’s is top notch! Not only was I introduced to the core principles necessary to develop and overcome the physical challenges/aspects of playing the instrument but also received a wealth of information related to music theory, multiple styes, endurance and speed exercises, sight reading and the core concepts which are integral to increasing ones overall musicianship.
The instructors at Clemente’s create an open and inclusive environment catering their approach to all levels and abilities - it’s a family oriented “vibe” that will make one feel at home and at ease…incidentally, one of the instructors (Dan Hunt) is not only a great guitar player and teacher but also offers expert luthier and guitar/bass repair services!
I would highly recommend Clemente’s to anyone at any level interested in learning about or improving their guitar skills, expanding their musical horizons and bringing their musicianship to a new level! The studio is located in a convenient location which offers easy access with plenty of parking.

My daughter has been taking lessons with Dan Hunt for the last 4 years. He is an excellent and knowledegable teacher. He is always on time and easy to reach if I am not. He is always prepared and truly listens to what my daughters interests are. He encourages her to continue to strengthen other music related abilities in conjunction with guitar. Dan has also helped us with many of our guitars, restringing, cleaning and adjusting.
Clemente is always well cared for; parking is sufficient and always plowed and shoveled in the winter. Interior rooms are decent; clean and climate controlled. Bathroom is always clean and working.
waiting area is decent; chairs and interesting music related magazines and reading materials are available.
We are very happy with our choice of Clemente Music as a place to learn guitar.
