How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching dance after high school at my local studio. I was interested in teaching since I was a teen and I loved it since I began! I went to college for dance education and learned many things to help grow my teaching skills. I love working with students of all ages and helping them see how dance can change their life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with complete beginner students to advanced students, and everything in between!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a chance to sit on porch today in the warm sun and read a book. It made me feel very happy.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher who will uplift you and give you the confidence to know that your dance abilities lie within you! It's not about impressing the teacher, it's about being better than yourself everyday. Find a teacher who will encourage you and be proud of you each day. I will do everything in my power to always be that kind of teacher for you.
