Jason is a great teacher! He prepared everything before the lesson and broke things down in way which made it easier to learn.

We are very fortunate to have Jason as our sons instructor
When our eight year old son Jake wanted to begin electric guitar lessons, we called a local music store who suggested Jason would be a good fit as an instructor for him. At that time, we had no idea we were beginning a wonderful relationship that would last more than 8 years, and continues today. Jasons personality made Jake feel welcome and comfortable right away. His teaching style kept Jake interested and challenged. We watched Jake’s passion and musical ability grow with each lesson. Over the years, Jason has been a leader, a mentor, a role model, and a motivator. He helped Jake prepare for several auditions, going above and beyond to help him be successful. To this day, Jake never wants to miss a lesson and continues to learn a great deal from Jason.
Early in Jake’s music education, we wondered how we would find an instructor as great as Jason when Jake “outgrew” him. But, we learned that Jason has so much to offer students at all levels. Jason has the knowledge and experience to provide instruction in a variety of music genres and music theory. He has the flexibility to tailor the lessons to help Jake with whatever he needs at the time. Those needs have changed dramatically from third grade to twelfth grade. But, Jason is happily up for the challenge.
We cannot say enough good things about our time with Jason!

30 minute lesson: $25

45 minute lesson: $35

60 minute lesson: $45

I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old.  I immediately fell in love with the instrument, and found it very natural to learn songs by ear.

By the time I was 14, I was being asked by my guitar playing friends and family to learn songs for them and teach them to play.  By the time I was a senior in high school, I was being paid to teach guitar and bass.  In my first year of college, I had a studio roster of 40-50 students per week.  I've been able to maintain that level of business since 1994 while also performing and recording in a very diverse range of music, from R&B to Jazz, Funk, Rock, and Metal.

I've worked with students from age 3 to 75.  I've helped students of all musical backgrounds and skill levels.  From casual learners, to career musicians, and everyone in between. I'm also comfortable working with special needs students.
