I am a classically trained professional pianist with a music degree from Wake Forest University. I have been studying piano since I was seven years old and have been teaching for over 10 years.I have won several competitions and awards for piano performance. I participated in The Golandsky Institute Summer Symposium at Princeton University every year where I studied piano pedagogue. I have also participated in several pedagogue clinics and techniques. I take a very holistic approach to teaching the piano and strive to teach my students efficient and safe technique focusing on their alignment. I like to make my lessons engaging, fun and interactive while also encouraging my students to do their very best. I can provide several references.
