About
I work with individuals or small groups who are ready to take their soccer game or fitness to the next level through enhanced conscious coaching. Knowing an athletes "Why" and understanding their unique goal is mandatory for improvement not only physically, but more important, mentally. Coaching is more than just drills and skills. It's bringing value to another person's life for them to carry on and hopefully pass on.
I've played soccer my whole life but have been sidelined since High school with injuries. That's what lead me to get a personal training certificate.
I'm ACE certified in 1) Personal Training, 2) Speed and Agility, 3) Sports and conditioning. I've been in the fitness field for 4+ years.
Delivery of online Programs is now easier than ever with the help of apps and certain websites.

Lastly I am currently an Orange Theory Coach in the DC area. So movement is kind of a big deal to me.
Getting people to move. It is so essential for a better quality of life. Yes, being fit is great, but being mentally fit and strong is where it counts. Especially these days.

How did you get started teaching?
I've naturally always have had coaching in me. Started as a swim team coach, a few soccer teams and now focus on individual performance. Love pushing athletes mentally and physically while engaging in building relationships with them so I can be there whenever they need it.
What types of students have you worked with?
In speed and agility I've coached all ages and types of athletes. From 8 year old baseball players to a seasoned MLS player working in his off season.
Coaching wise I have coached girls U13 teams and helped with several boys U12 teams.
Personal Training I've also trained people across the board. From middle aged men and woman just trying to maintain fitness levels, to pushing a 45 year old woman to complete her first marathon with only 4 months to train.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I worked with an extremely shy, overweight young man who didn't know how to control his body the slightest. After a few months of training with me in a gym setting, he became the go to kid (around adults) for the jokes and fully came out of his shell socially. Thats the important part. He also became much more conditioned and stronger than he could even imagine. This allowed his coordination to sky rocket.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always meet or at least speak with them before considering. Proper coaching techniques cannot be matched in just emails and texts alone. Buying into the process is trusting it, and the coach.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Really determine if that direction, whatever it may be, is what you really want to do. Are you doing it for yourself, or someone else?
