My name is Brian Waitzman from Best Friends Studio and I have been a teacher for 14 years and a musician my whole life.
I teach all ages and skill levels on guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele -as well as music theory, composition, and audition prep. I am a certified recording engineer and a seasoned performing artist.
I have helped develop curriculum for local music schools and created and mentored ensembles/bands.
Whether you want to play Bach on the piano or Jimi Hendrix on the electric guitar; whether you have never done this before or want to get back into it, I offer a broad range of knowledge to create customized lesson plans for each student.

Ive had guitar lessons with Brian Waitzman for two years, both in-person and virtually. The lessons have been a very positive experience for me that have helped me survive the pandemic! Brian has introduced me to new methods and techniques in playing that have challenged and broadened my playing ability. He is very knowledgeable, patient and open to working with all different kinds of music and has allowed me to take the lead (when I want to) in exploring different musical directions.
