About
I have been performing as a professional classical guitarist for over 35 years. I have over 15 years of experience teaching guitar. I taught guitar at Dale Music, Montgomery College Music Department as an adjunct guitar instructor, and at the Maryland Music Academy. I am currently on the faculty of Expressions Music Academy and Music and Arts Center as a guitar, ukulele and Piano instructor. I started guitar lessons when I was 8 years old, and have studied with a few well-known concert guitarists. I have performed in master classes with internationally recognized guitarists, have given solo guitar recitals in several concert halls, as well as performed in international guitar festivals. I have made several guitar transcriptions, and have released three CDs of solo guitar music. I enjoy and highly value the opportunity to help students reach their musical goals, whatever those may be. I try to make the lessons both interesting and fun. I emphasize good technique and music reading skills, as well as the fundamentals of music theory.
