Jim Steed Music

I have worked with Jim for six years, in that time I have gone from a child who did not know how to hold a guitar to a young man who has become an exceptional guitar player. Jim is a very patient teacher and he would never give up on any of his students. If you need someone to teach you how to play the guitar Jim will make you into a great guitar player.

So thrilled to have Jim as my daughter’s instructor! He’s incredibly friendly, kind & patient. He has an obvious love for all music & is a wonderful teacher. In just two lessons my daughter is already playing one of her favorite songs & she’s so excited about her lessons! Couldn’t ask for more!

Jim is an amazing teacher. I really enjoyed how he kept me on track with the basics I needed to learn and definitely came in handy but also was always checking in and making sure I was learning songs, techniques, and chords I wanted to know well. He knows everything about music and how to teach someone the guitar which definitely showed when I increased my skills, speed in switching chords, finger picking, and overall comfortability

with the guitar in only 1-3 months.

Jim Steed is a phenomenal guitar teacher. He is fun and patient and he believes so strongly in every single one of his students. I took guitar with Jim for 6 years and he always pushed me to do my best, because he believes in every students full potential. He was always listened to my wants as a guitar student, and threw in ideas of his own where he thought I would thrive, and he was always right! Jim became part of our family over the years, and we are so grateful for that. It has been 6 years since I stopped taking lessons from Jim, and I can proudly still play the guitar to my fullest potential, and know I can always reach out to Jim when I need guitar help, or want to start lessons again.

Jim taught me for 4 years. I am primarily a drummer so if he could teach a dumb ol’ drummer, he can teach anybody. In those 4 years, I went from knowing nothing about the guitar to singing lead vocals and playing rhythm guitar at my live shows. He was also very helpful in the studio and would produce a lot of our songs. Hands down the best music coach I’ve ever worked with. He WILL elevate your musical prowess. Guaranteed.
