Anything about the guitar is exciting to me. I have played guitar since I was a child.

I first performed on the Maury povich show at 8 years old.

I toured and performed around the world as backup guitarist for a award winning "Louisiana Red"

who had hit records in the 50's and 60's.

with Red I got a chance to play along side many of our fathers of the blues and, learned how to play this style directly from the people who created it.

I then started my own band which performed thousands of shows in clubs, venues, festivals, weddings party's etc for 40 years.

I am now going to try and teach some students to play blues , soul, rock n roll, New Orleans and, I'm able to coach an entire band as well.

Blues isnt something you learn, but must experience. Of all forms of music - rock, pop, folks, jazz - blues requires more musical phrasing and self-awareness. Its part of you, the musician, not something that is independent of you. I mention this because John embodies the genuine Blues. If you want to learn guitar and the Blues, John can do (like so many other teacher)... but what distinguishes John is he will guide your inner musicianship to externally manifest - for me, through my guitar. In short, John is better than advertised and highly recommend him for anyone who seeks music to be part of his/her life.
