Keith Malinowski Music
About
I believe every student has unique abilities and it's my job to fit the lessons to their strengths and weaknesses. My first goal in the lessons is for them to be enjoyable and useful. If your goal is to sing and play or prepare for a university degree, I want to make sure you reach your goal.
I absolutely enjoy more than anything else to see people do something they didn't think they could do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know what their goals, influences and abilities are first.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional teacher and musician for 40 years now. I have a background in writing and improvisation in most styles.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $30 per half hour or $60 per hour once a week to be paid at the beginning of each month for the month.
How did you get started teaching?
It was just a normal progression from being a professional musician. The two crafts lend themselves to each other quite nicely.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types, from 6 year old Uke students to aspiring and professional Bass and Guitar musicians of any age. If you think you're too old-you're not!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm extremely proud to say that online lessons have been quite a surprise and extremely satisfying for both myself and my students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Hire someone with great knowledge and experience who can inspire you to be the best you can be.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask them how long they've been teaching and what they can do for them. <br><a href="https://lessons.com/mi/detroit/guitar-lessons/" target="_blank"><img src="//cdn.lessons.com/assets/images/tmp/lessons-2021.png" width="150"></a><br>
