OUR PRICE and QUALITY! We create a proactive environment for martial artist that enhances one's ability, knowledge, and personal fortitude. TOur goal is to promote camaraderie, sportsmanship, fitness, martial arts conditioning and an inter-disciplinary repository of purposeful knowledge relevant to martial arts, so, that we all may all learn and grow as individuals, as a community, and our respective art forms.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assessment-giving the student an opportunity to show us their strengths, phsyical conditioning, and skill set.
Goals-Once we hae an understanding of their current ability we outline their goals and or intentions.
We immediately get started on developing them as martia artist by introducing them to the ranking system and preparing them for their first exam.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an experienced personal trainer, with over 7 years of Martial Arts instruction experience, and certified 3rd Degree Black Belt in Hapkido, So Bahk Karate, and Tae Kwon do. As a graduate of Wayne State University with a concentration in Occupational therapy and an Associate Degree in Health Science I place a sincere appreciation on helping others live happier and healthier lives without complication. I deeply believe that self mastery is the key to personal development and that the principals of Moo Sool Do can be applied to many area’s one’s life.

Our club offer package deals of 8 classes for the price of $75, our personal training sessions are $38 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
My instructor believed that teaching is a nessesary requirement for personal growth. When I recieved my first degree black belt, I was given the opportunity to instruct a childrens martial arts class at Chandler Park Academy.
What types of students have you worked with?
Our members ages vary from as young as three years old to as old as 71 years of age. Our program is designed to help our members as individuals to become better versions of themselves. We have worked with special needs children and young adults as well, helping them to live healthier live through martial arts training.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Pop-up martial arts classes, urbanwarriorclub.com, host free martial arts training sessions across the Metro Detroit area.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Pay attention to what you are being taught, remember that a sword is made with immense pressure. If your training isn't demanding, you are not being trained properly.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much are the costs, how often can I attend classes, what are the health risks, and when can I start.
