Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically. Like to get a feel for my students so I let them try to hit me in the first round. So I can figure out what exactly it is that they need to work on because everyone has their own fighting style I'm a developer of fighting styles I won't teach anyone to fight a specific way because everyone has their own style. Then from there I get my punching mitts out. And teach the fundamentals.. the job the cross the hook the uppercut. We put them all together and develop a rhythm and then we start doing more and more punching mitt combinations. Then at the end of the session my student we'll get to try to hit me again this time I'm hoping that they will use what they learn.. I'm very confident in my teaching style
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A former pro boxer that might be coming out of retirement in June. I turned pro in 2001 I've had 42 professional fights. I graduated from Blue heron academy, to learn how to be a legitimate personal trainer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
. I feel like it's more affordable to get training sessions and packages. Like maybe three. Or 5. But I do understand that one must get comfortable with a person. So paying per session in the beginning is the best route to take.
