Chris Lidstone Guitar Lessons

Chris Lidstone has been playing guitar for over 18 years including 14 years of live performance experience in various bands. He has toured extensively throuought the United States, Canada, and Australia. He aquired a Degree in Recording Engineering at McNally Smith College of music where he continued his studies in music theory and guitar. He is influenced by a wide variety of music including Folk, Rock, Blues, Punk, Pop, Grunge, Metal and Classical. Whether you have just picked up your instrument for the first time or are looking to fine tune your skills, Chris will guide you with the necessary skills you need to reach your own personal goals!

I'm Chris Lidstone and I love the guitar. I've been playing for almost 20 years and still almost every day I find new and interesting doors to explore on those six strings. Travelling to new places and playing guitar on a stage has been my biggest passion since I can remember but when I began teaching music to other people I found another level to music and the ways we communicate it, and through it. I get a real satisfaction when a student has an idea or skill "click" for them. I would like to help anyone with an interest in music to level up or to begin their journey with the knowledge and tools that will accommodate them on their own musical path.
