My teaching approach:

Most guitarists spend several years falling over themselves on their guitar until eventually something clicks and they finally break the learning barrier that keeps them from seeing the logic of the guitar's fretboard. Still more never break this barrier altogether. This is primarily due to the lack of good teaching. At any skill level, all guitarist' know there is no limit when it comes to improving their playing ability. With both education an over 30 years playing experience, 20 years of teaching experience, I use college based core curriculum publications as the basis for all my lessons, and then teach my students how to apply them to their everyday playing. With this kind of teaching, the student can be assured they are getting detailed, insightful, thorough lessons that will progress them from a beginner to an advanced playing ability in the shortest amount of time possible, without sacrificing the integrity of the lessons.
