My teaching approach:
At Guitar Center Studios, we use a curriculum designed specifically for Guitar Center by Hal Leonard Publications. The curriculum can be completely customized based on what you (the student) wants to learn. We have awesome courses for Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Acoustic styles. As one of our students, you could switch between the different courses and become a master of all styles! Our database of over 60,000 songs puts the official sheet music in the hands of all of our students. If there is anything you want to learn, we can teach it here at Guitar Center Studios!

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:
During the introductory lesson, we assess the students prior knowledge, if any, of reading music, as well as if they know how to play their instrument at all. We then determine which style of music the student would want to learn, and decide which one of our curriculum packets would be a good starting point.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
A typical lesson at Guitar Center Studios would start out with our curriculum. We would first go over what we had worked on the previous week, then continue on and learn even more. After finishing with the program for the day, we would then work on what ever song you would want to learn.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
The ideal guitar student is anyone who wants to learn. As long as the student wants to learn, we want to teach them.
