My Experience! I have a BA in music from Wayne State with a focus on classical guitar. I have over 30 years of professional work in Rock & Jazz.
I love playing the guitar more then ever! I still love practicing and considerate it a privilege to be a perpetual student instrument.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically assess what the student's interests are and begin by simply evaluating how they physically appoach the instrument. The guitar is a very physically demanding and having a teacher with an awareness of ergonomics and the eccentricities of the human anatomy is very very helpful to avoid certain obstacles that tend to undermine beginners.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
a B.A. in music with a major in classical guitar and a M.S. in Occupational Therapy with 10+ years working wth children with learning disabilties and training in ABA learning.
