About
Expect to see your child or yourself learn theory, technique, scales, sight reading, musicality ( the art of playing artistically) and more
I am pleased when I view my students growing in their talent and becoming confident and competant not ONLY MUSICALLY...BUT in taking a more mature approach as they develop into responsible citizens. Many of my students now have chosen careers in music!! I take great interest in my students and have high expectations but use a warm approach and SHOW THEM WHERE IMPROVEMENT needs to happen.

Fyi. When I discovered this site several years ago, the price to send a quote was $3.99. At that time I praise this company for reasonable prices. Lately however the price for a quote is out of my range as it is anywhere from $18 to over $23 just to contact you. Please feel free to call or text me as you can see, I have five star ratings with everyone and I normally get back to my students within a day of the call and often immediately. I have no idea how long this will be up here so my number is 734-629-3246. I prefer you text me first. I'll be happy to speak with anyone who calls. As you can see my time with this company is almost over but I'd like to be able to contact any of you so that the Miss there will be no misunderstanding as to why I did not return a response I look forward to hearing from you thank you

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I include 4 basic books, Lesson, Theory, Technique and Performance. The cost is approximately $30.00 to provide a way to isolate each skill and give my students a thorough and complete understanding of music at their level of understanding. Faber and Faber is an excellent series and I use it extensively. i also, recommend Hanon exercises as well as Czerny and others. FIngerpower is essential and I recommend a rhythm workbook, manuscript paper and Note Speller to enhance understanding and for the practice of note writing (notation) I am patient and attempt to meet each student half way. We have a lot of fun in the process. This help build rapport and trust
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
44+ years of experience...public and private schools...teaching music; teaching music privately for almost as long.
