What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The most important thing is what YOU what out of your lessons! I will tailor all the knowledge I give you to your interests and needs!! No goal is too big! I have the tools and skills to get you where you want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degrees include Jazz performance and electric guitar teaching. As well as my formal education I have 10+ years of professional touring and session work with some of the worlds most recognisable musicians. See videos of me on the Postmodern Jukebox YouTube channel.

$50 for an hour and $30 for 30 minute lessons. In person or via Zoom.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching guitar for the last 15 years and I LOVE it! I love being able to pass my knowledge and experience on to others. I see it as my responsibility to share what I know with future generations of guitarists.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages - 9 to 75. I teach ALL genres of music.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Think of all of the music you love. What makes it great? What do you want to take from your favourite songs and put into your own playing?
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What music do you want to play? Do you want to be strumming a guitar by a campfire, a career musician or just do it for the fun/love of music?!
