About
I've been a professional teacher for over 25 years and a performing musician for 40 years. Skilled in reading and music theory. As I child, with a father who is a music professor, I studied and trained with some of the world's best. (Irving Sarin-Boston and Pittsburg Symphonies....Gordon Smith-Detroit Symphony and world renowned composer-Joe LoDuca)
I still regularly play with some of Detroit's finest musicians in many bands.
I have taught students from 3-70 years old and unlike the others, this has been my main profession for over 25 years.
I promise a positive, encouraging learning experience catered to your schedule and your pace.
I enjoy teaching because I'm very good at it and very experienced. It brings me great joy to pass my knowledge along to budding, future musicians.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a household with a music professor for a father. I studied piano at age 6. At age 8, I studied trumpet with Irving Sarin (former 1st chair for Boston and Pittsburg symphonies) I also studied with Gordon Smith (former first chair with The Detroit Symphony) I then went on to study classical guitar with world renowned composer, Joe LoDuca. Over the years, I've performed with many celebrity acts, toured and still continue to play the local circuit.
