I have 20 plus years of experience teaching singing. I’m a professional singer, songwriter and jungle singer. I’ve had students make it through the audition process and appear on the Voice and American idol. I am trained in classical technique. I’m a rock and jazz singer by trade. I treat ever student as an individual and plan each lesson based on your skill and level of ability. I’m sensitive to the obstacles that people can face when they decide to start singing and I very much enjoy helping students unlock the power of their voice!

I have a great deal of experience working with teenagers to adults. I have coached many singers to prepare them for auditions in theater, but also teach general vocal technique and both beginning and advanced vocal skills. My knowledge of repertoire is extensive. In addition to teaching music K-12, I taught conducting and voice at Aquinas College, and directed three vocal ensembles. In the late 1980s, I competed in a state-wide university based vocal competition, and placed first in the adult category. I have many years of experience in church music ministry as well, and developed worship teams in addition to directing traditional choirs....
