I believe that each of our lives is a story being told. I believe that music is a language that can communicate the full spectrum of human expression to other people or just to oneself. It is my goal to know each student and customize lessons to them so that every student is equipped to write the next paragraph of their story. I believe that this can have a benefit to other areas of life and make a person better holistically.
I have been playing music for 15+ years including 5 years of leading church music and teaching lessons. The last two years, teaching has been my primary income. I have a B.A. In Music from the University of Northwestern-St.Paul with cello as my primary instrument.

Jared is great! Id highly recommend taking lessons with him. Besides being an overall pleasant human being, he is an experienced & engaging teacher. In all of our interactions he has demonstrated skill as both an instructor & musician. Jared makes improving your skill something attainable, and the process something to be enjoyed. As a student - younger or older, whether starting or advancing - you would not only learn to play your instrument with Jared, but learn to enjoy it more. Easy 5/5! I wish I didnt move away from MN, otherwise Id be signed up for guitar lessons with him now!
