I will help you achieve your goals learning music by starting you where you are.
I've been teaching guitar and music for 45 years- I've played in blues and rock bands, pit orchestras, playing acoustic, electric, slide guitar and bass.
My students have ranged in age from 5 yrs to senior citizens, and have benefitted from the individual attention I give them.
I am a degreed teacher, holding a batchelor of music from Webster University and a masters of music from Boston University and can teach beginning guitar, rock, blues and jazz guitar, bass, ukulele, composition and music theory.

He is a very good teacher and is excellent at helping my daughter to learn to play. He is patient with her and compliments her often as she plays. He does not rush her and encourages her. He comes prepared and there is no time wasted during the lesson.

Ron started teaching my daughter to play the ukulele when she was 5. He is always patient and makes the lessons interesting and understandable. She switched to guitar and is still enjoying her lessons with Ron! She’s 9 now and we plan to continue lessons with Ron as long as we can. In my daughter’s words, “He’s super nice and explains everything. He’s patient and will help you if you get something wrong.” As a parent I appreciate how he knows when to challenge her and when to let her ease into a skill. I highly recommend Ron for guitar lessons!
