About
Are you stuck in a guitar rut? Just starting out? Would you like to take your guitar skills to the next level? Caleb Alexander's lessons are for beginner, intermediate, and advanced guitar players seeking to take their chops to another level.
I love helping people learn! I've spend over half my life playing music, and quickly began teaching lessons in my hometown. After earning a Bachelors of Music, and a Masters in Jazz Performance I've realized teaching lessons is one of my biggest passions. No matter if you are just starting out with music, or if you have played for years I'm sure I can help you tackle your musical goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I genreally try to talk to the student (or their parent) over the phone before our first lesson. That way we can devote the entire lesson time to music making. In that first lesson I have students play some for me if they can, or we start with basics like holding the instrument, tuning, etc if they are beginners.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies with a concentration in guitar from Wichita State University in 2013. In 2017 I earned my Masters of Music in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Missouri - Columbia. While there I also earned a certificate in Music Entrepreneurship.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge a monthly fee for lessons of $90 per month of 1/2 hour lessons. This way if there are 5 weeks in a month you still pay the same amount.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with everyone from 5 years old to 78 years old, from people just starting out to college musicians.
