Personable and patient. I can help anyone learn who is willing to take the time to do it. I first picked up a guitar when I was 17 and have put it down since.
Guitar is my favorite thing, and I love being able to help others develop the same passion. There's nothing quite like being able to express yourself with an instrument, and guitar is such a versatile tool.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out what the student wants to learn, and see what their experience level is. See what kind of music they like, and then teach them to play what they like to hear.

Guitar instruction, and over 15 years experience

Mostly beginners, but I can teach any experience level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I miss going to shows! It used to be something I would do quite often, and I'm looking forward to when live music can be a regular occurence again.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are looking for guitar instruction, make sure that you really want to learn! It can be a little frustrating at first but it is ultimately very rewarding.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what it is you want to learn. Pick three songs with guitar that really inspire you and let your instructor know what they are so they can help you learn to play them.
