Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:I usually have them play and show me how they sit with the instrument if they say they have Played guitar previously or are experienced players. If they are totally starting from scratch then we start with how to sit and hold the guitar. Learn the string names and notes associated with them and maybe a few scales and chords that are really easy.A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:A basic lesson would be reading through songs and then Discussing what they need to improve and how to improve it through daily practice to obtain a specific goal. Also we would end off the class with a song of the students choice that they know well and play with confidence.The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:Someone who shows a real passion for learning and really sticks with the program.
