Dennis is great and knows his stuff. He’s a real teacher in every aspect

Dennis is definitely a professional. He has course work already prepared for your starting level and it is logically set out for the student. Dennis is understanding and explains concepts so that they are easily understood. I walked out of my first lesson saying “this time I’m really going to learn to play guitar”! I recommend Dennis highly .

Dennis takes you where you are and helps you fill in the gaps in your playing without making you feel bad about the gaps. He has a good plan for helping you make progress. He has a nice personality.

Great experience with a knowledgeable instructor! Was able to learn a lot in a short amount of time. The format was easy to follow and understand. 11 out of 10. Would recommend.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

As a professional music educator, I start with an evaluation of where they are on the guitar and what they identify as their goals. Then I utilize my curriculum to custom make a plan for their learning and styles. I monitor their progress weekly and encourage them to practice the assignments given to improve their skills and knowledge.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 25 years of full time experience as a teacher in private and classroom settings. I have a BS degree in secondary education with a minor in music. I have taught hundreds of students and over a dozen teachers how to teach music.
