Rock U America

My name is Jim Heath and I am the founder of “Rock U America”. I have enjoyed playing the guitar for years and have been fortunate enough to teach my oldest son Keyler how to play the guitar, and my youngest son Kolson how to play the drums. I have seen firsthand the positive impact of learning to play a musical instrument has had on both of my sons’ lives. That is why I have decided to start teaching other kids how to play the guitar and drums.

I have created “Rock U America” to be an organized program that can teach kids the basics of playing the guitar, bass or drums in a fun environment. When I was a kid (many years ago) you had to sit through hours of instructions learning how to read music, and playing songs that I simply did not enjoy playing. Unfortunately; most kids end up quitting after being bored with their lessons. Our goal at “Rock U America” is to keep kids engaged and having a lot of fun!

“At Rock U America” we focus on not only teaching the basics, but we also teach the kids how to play fun songs right from the beginning. We offer group lessons and students will participate in 4 lessons per month. Everythree months students will have the opportunity to show off their talents in front of their family and friends at one of our “Rock U America” Gig Nights.
