It’s refreshing to work with experienced musicians who allow me to grow at my own pace. What a joy it is to find music again.

I took voice lessons with Liya at Shock City and I had an excellent experience. I'm a singer/songwriter and I had never had formal voice lessons before. I learned valuable exercises to help improve my voice and sound my best. I've loved singing now more than I ever have. I would highly recommend lessons at Shock City!

I really enjoyed my vocal lessons. Liya was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot of new techniques that I apply to my vocals all the time now. I appreciated her level of expertise and experience. She was super nice and fun to work with. I would have liked to do more in the studio. I was also expecting to have a vocal coach who was a full accompanist, even though Liya and I still had great lessons.
