Studio time is included with the lessons. I teach guitar, piano and voice for the Performing Songwriter. You can take guitar lessons from a teacher and still not have an idea how your instrument relates to songwriting. I have two degrees in music (Berklee '96), a degree in Songwriting and one in Music Production and Engineering. I worked inthe music business for 20 years, 16 of that in Nashville, and 11 years managing a company on Music Row.

I've been in music all of my life. So far. I've met a lot of wonderfully talented people, both famous and not famous at all and enjoyed working with them.

David was clear on the need to work on several areas if I wanted to get deeper into acoustic blues guitar: build repertoire, work on theory and apply it to the fret board, technique, and so forth. He pointed me to resources and talked through terms that confused me. He also let me set the agenda on what we worked on; he also made backing tracks for me to practice along with.
He was flexible in terms of scheduling times and just an overall good fellow in that Im an adult learner and need time to let new things fit into existing knowledge.
(I hope to get back with him once my tennis elbow heals!)
