Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At the first lesson, I first start to get to know them. I try to understand their learning style and what kind of music they're interested. I help them assess their goals and objectives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.M. in jazz studies-piano performance from Webster University. I graduated with department honors, also studying classical piano, composition, songwriting, and voice.
I've also attended multiple songwriting workshops over the years, including one at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
