Hello! My name is Joe Rogers and Ive been teaching guitar, bass, and drums for 6 years! I'm 27 years old and have been playing guitar for more than half of my life now. I live in St. Louis and have years on experience teaching guitar lessons in person. More recently with Covid-19 I have had the opportunity to focus in on zoom lesson and have a pretty solid method of working over video calls! I love teaching guitar, and music in general. I hope to hear from you soon!

Frequently asked questions

With new students I usually start by going over the parts of our guitar as well and some basic concepts to keep in mind. Then my first thing I usually work on playing with students are some "Open Position Power Chords" and a "Chromatic Exercise".

With younger students we call the chromatic exercise the Caterpillar exercise. It's a fun way for them to remember it!
