Let's be honest, most guitar lessons onine suck. It's not because peope can't play guitar. It's because most people don't know how to "teach" the guitar. It doesn't matter how much talent you have at something. That doesn't mean you can teach it.
Most lessons focus on isoated techniques and methods that don't tie together. So, you spend al your time earning bits of infroamtion without knwoing how to actualy "use" them. In the end, you ust end up frustrated and quit.
What I offer is a step-by-step method comprised of both guitar techniques and music theory that allows you to build on the previous lesson. Everything you'll learn will transfer over lesson-to-lesson as you progress. By the end, you'll be able to use the same skills you learned at the beginning and take them to a whole new level. Everything you learn constatny builds on the next. See, I know how to do this because unlike most people who "teach" guitat online, I was actauly a teacher in a previous life. Let's do this!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I will assess the student to see where his/her skill level is. Knowing this allows me to know where to begin and what to focus on. Typicaly though, I first work with getting the studetn use to the feel of thie guitar and to shwo them tips on how to develp thier fingers while also learning sectiosn of chords for them to practice with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of guitar experience along with five years of both self-taught and professional music theory training.
