About
My teaching is based on healthy singing with relaxed, easy breathing, great diction and style – no matter the genre. I also strive to help singers incorporate acting and musical interpretation into their performance, so they are creating an engaging performance - not just making lovely sounds.
I love seeing growth in my students and hearing wonderful advancements as they develop their talents. It's exciting to see the sparkle in the student's eyes when they get it!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We establish where they are musically and technically as well as discuss their background and experience. Then we build from there. The first half of the lesson will be focused on technique and the second half on repertoire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music, a Masters of Music in vocal performance and pedagogy, and post graduate diploma in opera performance. I've also sung professionally for more than 25 years.
