I am a guitarist and educator that has worked with over 100 students in private and group lessons for the last 4 years.
I am committed to giving very practical lessons to students to help them learn an instrument for the first time or to get into music that inspires and motivates them!
I have a Bachelor's of Music in guitar performance from UNC Chapel Hill, I played in the Jazz band, Jazz small groups, and Charanga Latin band.
I play guitar regularly in the area in small jazz groups and in my R&B/Soul Band, Centricity.
I enjoy the passion and happiness that I see in a student when they acquire skills on an instrument that they didn't think they could achieve. Seeing young musicians grow technically and creatively makes me so happy to be a music teacher!
