FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Bold Music lessons can be whatever you want them to be! We take the time to get to know each and every one of our students so that we can customize lessons to learn skills and songs that they are excited about.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Every single one of our instructors has either had collegiate musical training or is a professional musician themselves.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

We have several different lesson packages available depending our your schedule and how many you want each month. We offer 45-minute and 60-minute sessions.

How did you get started teaching?

We realized after college that there was a significant opportunity to reinvent music lessons in the Charlotte area. We want each student to have fun while they are learning! We also have the opportunity for our students to play live gigs at local spots around town.

What types of students have you worked with?

We work with students of all ages and skill levels who want to learn in the disciplines we teach.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

We recently did a music recording summer camp (we do it every year) at a local Charlotte recording studio - Bold Music students got to play and record their own records!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Hire someone you can learn and have fun with!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What do you want to learn and what type of learner are you (visual, audio, etc.)
