My favorite part of about teaching music is watching the piece's of the giant puzzle that is music come together into the big picture. Every students goals and pictureare different. As a teacher it is my responsibility to find those goals and guide the student to meet them in the most productive way

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to work with all elements of music such as Rythm melody and harmony. Having a strong understanding of these fundamentals is crucial in learning music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied bluegrass and old time music at east Tennessee state University. I have been a traveling professional musician for 15 years!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based around 4 a month. 30min lessons once a week. Pricing is 100 dollars a month.
How did you get started teaching?
I got a job as an instructor when I first moved home from Tennessee 5 years ago and started teaching at different music stores around Charlotte and york county
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students of all age ranges from 7 to 70
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This year alot of my younger students made me christmas cards thanking me for helping them play music.
